The Luminous icon is best in class inverter power back up unit with beautiful aesthetics of outer shell casing. The best feature is that the battery goes inside the casing and is not visible at all! The only minor issue is that the inverter has a bit noisy fan on the side which is audible significantly from some meters distance, especially when there’s no other noise of ceiling fan or AC or anything else. The noise can be annoying in the long run. Second is the buzzer sound which is very high pitched, sharp and loud. The company should work on the fan and buzzer sound in the next version of this product. Lastly, The current design needs the technician to lift the battery high to put it inside the casing. Lifting battery is not easy. The company should bring an improved design in future with no need to lift the heavy battery upto the inverter height. Design for serviceability!

Primarily i bought this 1100 inverter for gaming cpu, i have connected only cpu and monitor even then its not withstanding during power cut. I have raised complaint with luminous they replaced the board but after a week again the same problem. I have never expected a inverter that doesnt withstand power cut. Whole inverter is blinking red during powercut and spoing my cpu lifecycle.

I was looking for a inverter that is safe to install indoors because i have a toddler running and touching things. This inveter is fully covered, looks so stylish inside room and the lights are aesthetically good. Also beeps very less and load transfer is instant. Built is great with ABS plastic and there are no panel gaps. You can install it with Tall Tubular Battery of any brand within the recommended capacity.
